Welcome to the fourth, and penultimate, issue of the Horn & Ivory Zine
. August has been orange and almost impossibly long, but it's wonderful to be able to bring this issue to you. From the rising of Lazarus
to the gentle echo of a Eulogy
, we bring you poems of memory and remembrance. The poetry in this issue is aching, it's gentle, it's strong. We hope it brings you both peace & joy. Not every kind of remembering has to hurt.
As always, the greatest thanks go to our contributors & to everyone involved in putting this issue together; we couldn't have done it without you. It's hard to imagine that in 16 days(!) we'll be releasing our final ever issue, but in this case, the memory comes before the end.
That said, submissions are open until September 10th, so it's not too late to submit. We look forward to hearing from you all. In the meantime, thank you so much for sticking with us for all this time. We hope you'll enjoy this issue.
All the best,
the Horn & Ivory
